On tonight's win...
"I am just so proud of them. They executed down the stretch and made the plays they needed to make in a tough game. We are 4-1 in the SEC and we just need to keep this thing rolling."
On how they got the win...
"You just think back to all of those close games we have played this year. This team just knows how to play when it is crunch time. They just kept fighting. We lacked energy for a lot of the second half. I was just really trying to fire them up at huddles to get them ready to go. I told the other coaches at the under-4 timeout that we were about to win. They found that fight and they were ready to go. Amber Singletary played big for us in the backup point guard position for us when A'Queen Hayes fouled out. I cannot say enough about how great our team played. Erika Sisk played great down the stretch. We started going to Tia Faleru and she just really did a lot of work for us."
On slowing down Tiaria Griffin...
"We just played pretty well defensively. We are getting better and better every game. Those girls are out there battling. Griffin is one of the best players in this league and we limited her to six shot attempts in this game. We really hustled. The team has bought into the game plan. It is just a special, special win for our program."
On the big win...
"It feels great. A lot of people would have never thought we would be where we are. We say all of the time that we know what we have as a team. We just came together and used our toughness to get the win."
On what went well...
"Getting to the paint was really important for us tonight. Every time we were able to get to the paint something good would happen. We were able to draw fouls and knock down layups."
